Simple church, consisting of a nave and chancel and Victorian vestry. Originally a chapel dependent on Blewbury. Late 11th or early 12th nave, extended in late middle ages. 19th century chancel. Glorious 19th century wooden fleche spire. Mediaeval wall painting of St Christopher. A Grade 2 star listed building with a fine 20th century glass window of St Birinus..
