Henley on Thames : Holy Trinity

The church was constructed in 1848 by Benjamin Ferry, and consists of flint with stone detailing. In 1891 a vestry, baptistry and aisles were added and the churchyard area was expanded. Externally there has been little alteration since the C19.

About this church

The interior was reordered in 1987 and the nave and aisles are now a single open space. The windows have geometrical trace.

A section of the churchyard has been left uncultivated to allow the 200 species of summer wild flowers to flourish and it supports many species of butterflies and moths.
