About this church

The slim and elegant spire, which is floodlit, soars to two hundred feet and can be seen for miles. The old saying is ‘Bloxham for length, Adderbury for strength, Kings Sutton for beauty.

The south chapel is known as the Milcombe Chapel and is a notable example of Perpendicular architecture of the 15th century, with enormous plain glass windows flooding the interior with light.

The stained glass of the large east window by William Morris and Burne -Jones is quite breathtaking when seen on a sunny day.

The remains of the Medieval Paintings are in the lower panels of the 15th century screen.
