DESCRIPTION:David Warr will lead a tour in the north of the county to a group of churches which are built from iron-rich limestone. These will be St John the Baptist\, Hornton; St Etheldreda\, Horley; St Peter\, Hanwell; and All Saints\, Wroxton. We shall\, in particular\, see fine medieval wall paintings and stone carvings. A light lunch is included at the Rose and Crown\, Ratley. There will be a repeat of this tour on May 19th. Please note that this tour will involve some walking and a need to negotiate steps and uneven ground.
