Chana James, Communications Manager at the Churches Conservation Trust (formerly the Redundant Churches Fund) will talk to us about the work of the Trust. The trust was founded by the Church of England to take on the ownership of those redundant parish churches which are of such historic, architectural or archaeological merit that they should be conserved for the nation and opened to the public. The CCT currently owns more than 350 church buildings. In support of its work, it undertakes both an active conservation programme and, increasingly, it engages with local communities.
Open only to OHCT Members. Free to attend, but you must book a ticket.
We’ll send out a Zoom link on the day before the talk.
