Built of squared coursed stone with imitation stone tile roofs, the the Grade 2* Gothic Revival building has a 4-bay aisled nave, central tower, and chancel.
The interior contains many interesting architectural features and furnishings; the chancel roof is arch-braced. There is a triple lancet Rose window above the east end of the chapel. and painted inscriptions on sheet metal to walls of chancel and over nave arcades (now faded). The chancel floor has encaustic tiles and frescoed fleur-de-lys pattern behind altar.
