The simple Quaker Meeting House was built in 1724 and restored in 1924. As an early purpose-built meeting house, its discreet location and modest form are expressive of the early history of the Quaker movement.

Using red and grey bricks laid to Flemish bond, flint, and clay tile roof coverings, this Grade II* listed building retains many original features, including traditional plain plasterwork, brick flooring, wooden panelling, a ministers’ gallery and benches.
