Holly’s evening church visit this year is to St Denys’, Northmoor – just to the west of Oxford and to the north of Kingston Bagpuize. It dates mostly from the late 13C and early 14C, with later embellishments. Henry Herford, a Church Warden will talk about the building – there are finely carved capitals, a twelfth-century font, wall paintings, and good stained glass in the chancel. Supper is booked in the Red Lion pub from 7:00 pm.
Book now: tickets including supper (but not drinks) are £25. Advice on parking and the menu will be sent in advance to those who book.
