We are fortunate that the distinguished ecclesiastical historian, Prof. Sir Diarmaid MacCulloch, has agreed to give us a talk: Right in front of your eyes – a new view of the Reformation.
Sir Diarmaid, is an engaging speaker, well-known for his many television programmes on church history and also for his writing – including his recent biography of Thomas Cromwell. Book now: tickets £35.
As always, we are grateful to His Grace the Duke of Marlborough for making the Palace available to us for this event.
Please note
Because of extensive renovations to the Orangery, we cannot have a sit-down supper before the lecture this year: instead, drinks and canapés will be served in the Colonnades. Though seating in the Colonnades will be limited, we shall open the Marlborough Room (where the lecture takes place) as early as possible once the sound system and projection have been set up to provide additional seating during the reception. The lecture will start at about 7:00 pm.
