Blenheim Lecture with Dr David Starkey ‘England’s Brexit under Henry VIII’
October 18 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm£30.00
Our speaker is Dr David Starkey CBE FSA RHistS, the noted constitutional historian, radio and television presenter and controversialist. His academic specialisation is in Tudor history, and he will give this a contemporary twist by speaking on “England’s Brexit under Henry VIII”. This will not only be topical in terms of current politics but it will also be very relevant to the history of our churches. This combination of speaker and topic means that this year there will probably be particularly keen demand for places. Doors open at 6.30. Drinks, finger buffet and lecture £30. Book early to avoid disappointment!
Please note that we have a bug in the system, the event venue is Blenheim Palace (not Goring)
