Our Blenheim Lecture is an opportunity for our supporters to enjoy a relaxing evening together in fine surroundings and to hear our specially invited guest speaker. Our speaker this year is A. N. Wilson, writer and newspaper columnist renowned for his critical biographies, novels and works of popular history. His biographies include one on Queen Victoria, and he has taken as his title, “Queen Victoria: Liberation through Heartbreak”. We can look forward to a stimulating view of this remarkable monarch.
We shall convene for drinks at 6:30 before moving to the Orangery for a light supper before the lecture.
