Professor John Blair FBA, FSA will speak on The Anglo-Saxon past in the Romanesque present: the Architectural Reinvention of Oxfordshire’s Minsters.
Professor Blair, FSA, FBA is an English historian, archaeologist, and academic, who specialises in Anglo-Saxon England. He is Emeritus Professor of Medieval History and Archaeology at the University of Oxford, and a Fellow of The Queen’s College. He has published widely on the social, cultural, ecclesiastical and landscape history and archaeology of early medieval England.
