On 24 June we are very fortunate to have a study day on Oxford’s stained glass with Sarah Brown, Director of the York Glaziers Trust, the oldest and largest specialist stained glass conservation studio in Britain. In her article on our website (www.ohct.org.uk/sarah) Sarah noted that the chapels of Merton College, Christ Church, New College, All Souls and Balliol preserve some of the most important glazing schemes of the 14th, 15th and 16th centuries anywhere in Europe. Sarah will give us a talk followed by a guided tour of some of these.
