Annual Meeting of the Trust 2026

We are grateful to Marjorie Glasgow BEM, Lord Lieutenant of Oxfordshire and Patron of the Trust, and to the Ditchley Foundation Trust, for arranging for us to meet as their guests this year at Ditchley Park.
Our business will, as usual, be a review of the Trust’s work in the year. Our President, the Bishop of Dorchester, will be in the Chair.
Ditchley is a fine, Grade-I listed, house by James Gibbs and Francis Smith built in 1722 in extensive parkland. It was used in WWII by Sir Winston Churchill as a country residence close to Blenheim.
Arrivals: from 3:30 pm – tea and biscuits will be provided.
Meeting: 4:00 – 5:00 pm
After the meeting, there will be a reception during which there will be the opportunity to take a conducted tour of the house.
Early booking is advised as space for the meeting in the Ditchley State Room is limited. Attending the meeting is free of charge, but there will be a small charge for those who book to stay for the reception and tour. Once booking is closed, full joining instructions will be sent to all who have booked.
Those with limited mobility should note that there is a flight of some 10 stone steps at the main entrance to reach the Hall and State Room for the meeting (there is an alternative route with a lift). There is, however, no lift to facilitate access to the first floor of the house for the tour.
Arrivals from 3.30 for 4 pm.
