We were delighted to hear that the Church at Littlemore has received an OPT award in this year’s competition for the Newman Meeting Place project.

Members may recall that in 2019 the Trust made a grant of £11,000 towards this ambitious project which comprises a new kitchen and two toilets, new heating, lighting, a renewed vestry and a brand new space: the crypt.

The church has been redecorated and the historical features cleaned and repaired. It’s now warm, light and welcoming.

There is no mistaking that the work has transformed and greatly added to the interior of the church and offers excellent space for community activities. Our congratulations to all those involved in this splendid project.
