David Warr will lead a tour into Buckinghamshire to visit some fascinating churches in the Bernwode Beniface and Wotton House. We meet at All Saints Brill at 11 am and then go on to St Mary’s Chilton, the curious little church of St John the Baptist Dorton and All Saints’ Wotton Underwood. This contains the extraordinary family mausoleum of the Marquises of Buckingham. We will also be able to visit their great Wotton House nearby with its landscape by Capability Brown. Our lunch will be at the Pheasant, Brill. We hope to finish at 4.30 pm.
